our home in COLUMBIA, SC
This home is always going to be a little extra special to us. It was the first home we ever bought, had built, and really where the vision for this blog was confirmed. Even though we were able to pick out the lot, model of the house, and things like flooring, cabinets, and countertops, we put our own touch on every room to make it feel more custom. Like it was ours. We learned a lot in this home - how to install board and batten, change out light fixtures, install wallpaper, you name it, and we shared it all on here! Best of all though is that we learned the importance of staying true to our own style.
