Hi! Happy Tuesday! Today I’m so excited to be sharing our laundry room with you all. This was the first project we started and completed in our new home. It took us only one weekend and was relatively simple. Although, I will say, wallpapering for the first time with Stephen served as a very effective marriage counseling session that focused on two topics – teamwork and patience.
We still have a few very small things we want to accomplish in this space. For instance, find a clever way to hide the cords and make a cute laundry sign but in the meantime, I’ll continue to smile every time I open the door. I love how simple it is. It always reminds me of how much I love simple. There’s no clutter, no random extras to dust, just everything we need with a few touches of character.
Do you see that little curtain? That was my first real sewing project that some of you might’ve seen it on stories! It isn’t perfect by any means but it does the trick and it served as some darn good practice. That space behind it is basically useless and lacks organization currently but it stores our steamer, bleach, etc. Eventually we’ll come up with something more effective.
I hope you all like it!
