“Fight for my Life” – How God has Used our Fertility Battle for Good

posted in:

It has been just over one year since I shared THIS blog post explaining our baby journey. It has been an ongoing battle since then including loss and many more months of negative pregnancy tests. It’s a journey though that I’m extremely grateful to be fighting through, especially with Stephen by my side.

One of the best things about being stationed in South Carolina is that I’ve been able to connect with a large group of faith-filled women through what is called “Saturated”. We meet once a month to hear about how Jesus is moving through other woman’s lives, to worship, to pray and pray some more, and as a result, we learn how to be better disciples. Last week, I had the privilege of sharing my testimony around the topic “Fight for your Life” which is perfect because we have the FIGHT CONFERENCE coming up in February! Before I share my talk, I feel the need to share about this special event…

Fight is a two day women’s conference put on by Saturated February 21 and 22, 2020. Last year we witnessed hundreds of lives being changed in those two days (including my own!). It was such a blessing. If you are in the area, JOIN US! I will be speaking on a panel on Friday night. We’d love to have you there with us.

Okay, back to the testimony part. I was hesitant to share this. It feels super vulnerable and as ready and excited as I felt going into it, speaking in front of a large group of people can be a bit nerve-racking, especially on a topic like this. I do believe though that this word can impact more women than just those present in the room that night. Even if it’s just one more of you. That is my prayer.
