Happy Friday! I hope you’ve had a really great week. Here are some favorites of mine that made my week even better.

• Collagen

This is something that I’ve wanted to write about for months now so I’m really excited that I can at least talk about it a little bit this week. COLLAGEN! Alright, you all, one of the most frequent questions that I get asked is, “How do you keep your skin so clear?” I certainly am going to talk about my skincare routine someday but for now the most important thing I do is drink collagen daily. Every morning I have a big glass of tea with two scoops of unflavored Vital Proteins Collagen. It not only helps keep my skin clear but it has made a huge difference in my hair (my hair stylist even made a comment about it last time I was there!). It has been growing faster than normal and is also thicker than normal. My joints also feel better whenever I take it… Okay I’m done now. My point is, collagen is so great.

• Welcome Chicken + Donuts

Once I landed from my work trip last week, Stephen took us to Welcome Chicken + Donuts to check another donut place off our list. This place is officially my favorite donut joint in Arizona thus far. Say whaaaat?! The donuts were so amazing and the chicken sandwich. Boy oh boy…

Look at some of those flavors!! Irish Coffee Cake, Chocolate Pumpkin Spice, Horchata, Tres Leches Hominy Puddin’… There were so many great options to choose from. The raised Vegan Glazed was amazing but I think my favorite was the Miso Butterscotch and Cranberry. Wait, I also loved the Fig + Ginger Lemon Cream. Ah biscuits, I can’t decide… They were just all so good.

• Our Grand Canyon Trip

We had such a good time on our trip to the Grand Canyon and Horseshoe Bend last weekend… I’m still on a high from it this week!

Side note, I bought this jacket last year on sale for $22 at the end of the season and it’s the greatest thing since sliced bread. If you’re looking for a jean jacket I’d definitely check this one out. It’s currently $30 right now but that’s much less than the $80+ options that I’ve looked at. If you’re like me, you’ll definitely get your monies worth! I’m wearing a small for reference but I typically wear a medium. It was the only one left on the sale rack so I had to compromise just a bit but it surprisingly fit me fine! The sweater I’m wearing is from Costco. If you haven’t looked at their clothes before you’re missing out! They’re great quality and usually really inexpensive. I’ve linked other similar options below!

• Halloween

I hope you all had a great and safe Halloween! We didn’t do much other than pass out candy but Adi definitely got into the spirit of things. I mean come on…. Just look at her!!! She had us laughing so hard.

• WOD

20 min AMRAP: 20 slam balls (16#), 10 HSPU, 20 pistols, 10 T2B… WOOOOOF! That is a good one! Thanks, Katnip!

• Verse

The past two weeks have been really emotional and tough for someone really close to me. There have been a lot of positive moments and progress thus far but there still is a long way to go. If you have a chance to pray for her it would mean a lot!
