Christmas Decor that made me say, “OH MY LANTA Ellie, I love this!” in Target Today

posted in:

Ellie and I had to drive to Tuscaloosa today to pick up the wood that we need for our master bedroom makeover since it wasn’t available in Columbus. It’s an hour and fifteen minutes away from us so anytime we’re there we must stop at Target (and Chipotle), right?! Target recently started putting their Christmas decor out and so I was really excited when a lot of it was out when we arrived. There’s so many things that have come out even since I shared this post with my favorite Christmas Anthro dupes. There were a few things in particular that made me say, “OH MY LANTA ELLIE, I LOVE THIS!” She loved a lot of it too… Heck that could be a whole separate post. Anyway, I figured I’d round them up and share here. I already see some of the stuff is sold out so I recommend snagging it now while you can! There’s one thing in particular that I lost my mind over…

Target Christmas
  • Pink velvet tree pillow – I was torn between this one and the red pillow that I shared below. I ultimately landed on the red because I bought it specifically for Ellie’s room and I thought it would go well with her dresser. While I could definitely have found a place for both, I had to keep the budget in mind. If you have it in the budget and a spot for this one, it’s super cute!
  • Santa mug – I also included this mug in this Anthro dupe post because it reminds me of a mug you’d find in a Santa mug collection and I just love how nostalgic that feels.
  • Pom pom wreath – I actually DIYed a pom pom wreath in this post HERE based off of a MUCH more expensive alternative but I will admit… I like this one way more. The colors are timeless and the bells are festive and add a pretty gold touch.
  • Metal Merry Christmas garland – I didn’t bring this home with me and I regret it. I’m going to order it right now! It’s a Studio McGee dupe that I think will always be classy and can be used in so many different ways for years and years to come.
  • Stockings – I lost my mind over these stockings. They are so chunky and good quality for the price and come in so many color options. I had a really hard time choosing which one to get. In fact, I had the purple, pink, and white in my cart at one point. I decided on the pink but now I’m kind of kicking myself for not getting the cream one too. But I also really really love the purple for some reason… It’s by far the best Anthro dupe I’ve felt and seen. Well done, Target.
  • Tassel garland – I thought this was so fun and would pair well with the stockings on the mantle. I’d layer with another garland to make it more chunky and full!
  • Red tree pillow – I got this cutie for Ellie’s bedroom. It isn’t a cover which I prefer, but it almost feels like canvas material but softer so it’ll super easy to keep clean and the tree is so playful!
  • Bottle brush trees – If you love collecting bottle brush trees, Target is a great place to get them! Comparable items are way more expensive at other stores.

When are you going to start decorating for Christmas? We agreed none of it will be coming out until we finish the bathroom + bedroom projects. The goal is to have all of that done by November 16! There’s still quite a ways to go but we’re going to bust it out the best we can and see if we can make it happen. Keep up with the progress on here and Instagram! It’s a joy to have you chiming in and following along.
