Easiest Dip Recipe Ever

posted in:

I love me a good dip. The kind where if someone tries to take the bowl away from you, you might smack their hand kind of dip, the “I just can’t stop eating it” dip or the “I’m pretty sure I just ate all of my calories for the day” dip. Yeah, that kind. Even better is when the dip checks all of those boxes AND takes less than 5 minutes to make. Sign me up.

Megan from Holy City Chic shared this recipe on her stories on July 3rd just as I was trying to figure out what to bring to our friends house the following day. I watched her video at 10:00 PM and thought, “OOO I love cream cheese. I love me a good dip. I have all of these ingredients on hand.” *Walks to the pantry* Stephen made a comment about how I didn’t need to be cooking so late and could make it the next day (he’s wrong… It’s even better when it sits overnight in the fridge). Five minutes later, the dip is made, and he’s already ten “taste test” bites in…

Since I had all of the ingredients in the pantry and fridge, I doubled the recipe so that we had some to eat at the pool in the morning and also enough to bring to the party that afternoon. Yep, it’s that good. Pair it with your favorite tortilla chip, Doritos, crackers, or whatever your heart desires/whatever you have on hand and you’ll have yourself a winner!

Easiest Dip Recipe Ever

Prep Time 4 minutes

Ingredients

  • 8 oz. Cream Cheese reduced fat CC also works!
  • 1 packet Ranch Seasoning
  • 1 can Sweet Corn, drained
  • 1 can Ro-Tel Tomatoes with Green Chilies, drained

Instructions

  1. In a medium sized bowl, microwave the cream cheese for 30 seconds to soften.
  2. Add in about 2/3 of the packet of Ranch seasoning (or less or more depending on your flavor preference! We love it with about the entire packet).
  3. Using a fork, mash up the cream cheese and Ranch until they're combined.
  4. Add in the drained can of corn and the drained can of tomatoes + green chilies.
  5. Stir until completely combined.
  6. Cover the bowl and let it rest in the fridge overnight (you can also eat it immediately but it's better when it sits!).
