2018 Christmas Home Tour Video (WHAT?!)

posted in:

Happy Friday! I hope you all had an amazing week leading up to Christmas. It’s such an exciting time! Before we head home to our families, I wanted to share a tour of our home decorated for the season. This is something I’ve never done before (please excuse my videography skills) and I think it’ll answer some questions I get from time to time about the layout of our home. It will also serve as a fun way to document our decor this year. My mom takes photos every year before puts the Christmas decor away. I always thought it was a smart idea because she can look back on them and get inspiration from previous years or simply let it serve as precious memories. This is my own version of that, just with a blog!

This will also be a journal of sorts for us to look back on. This is the first house we’ve owned together and the first house we’ve decorated for the holidays. We want to capture these memories while we can! We believe we’ll still be here next year but in the military we can’t really be sure of anything.

The next few days are going to be filled with all things Christmas and family so if I don’t get around to hopping on before then, I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas filled with love and joy. I apologize for not being able to keep it together very well at the end of the video. Deployment especially during the holiday’s cuts right to my core. We’re so thankful for our men and women serving that won’t be with their loved ones during this special time of year. We pray that you come home safe and no matter where you are, you’re reminded that you’re so loved.

ARVE Error: Mode: lazyload not available (ARVE Pro not active?), switching to normal mode

P.S. If you want to fast forward on some things, I won’t be offended. I got sidetracked quite a few times… What’s new?

with joy
